The original guest rooms and apartments of the Säynätsalo Town Hall offer a unique opportunity to stay in one of Alvar Aalto’s most significant buildings. All apartments come equipped with a kitchen, a bathroom, and essential kitchen accessories. The guest rooms feature a shared shower and a shared toilet. Bed linen and towels are provided in all accommodations. A guided tour is included in the accommodation price. On the island of Säynätsalo, you’ll find a supermarket and several restaurants.
Guests staying at the town hall can also book a guided tour to Elissa and Alvar Aalto’s summer house, the Experimental House Muuratsalo, either in the evening or the morning. The transportation for the tour is not included in the price and can be arranged by your own car or bus. Additionally, you can rent a bicycle from the town hall to cover the approximately four-kilometer easy route.
