Welcome to Juurikkasaari to enjoy the beautiful scenery of lake Päijänne in an igloo sauna boat M/S Flamia! The glass-walled and wood-fired sauna is located at the shore of Juurikkasaari, and between sauna sessions, you can take a refreshing dip in the lake. Our award-winning lakeside terrace and grill serve up delicious food and refreshing drinks.
The facilities of our beach sauna are available for your use during your sauna session. These include:
– WC (with hairdryer)
– A shower (with shampoo & conditioner)
– A dressing room and a spacious sauna cabinet for changing clothes
– Sauna seat covers
The sauna is located right by the shore, so you can cool off in Lake Päijänne either from the boat, the new illuminated pier (with ladder) or via the child-friendly sandy beach.
You can choose between the first sauna session at 4-6 PM or the second at 6-8 PM. The sauna is mixed-gender, and swimwear is required. If needed, you can also rent a towel for your sauna session for €5. The igloo sauna is suitable for guests aged 13 and older.
