Gallery Höyry is a multidisciplinary art gallery run by Ulla Huttunen and Arto Salminen in a former steam sawmill power plant in the Korpilahti harbour. The building was constructed in 1897. The building next to Gallery Höyry serves as an exhibition space in the summer. The exhibitions change monthly. More information: www.facebook.com/hoyrygalleria
In Emalipuu Shop, Ulla and Arto exhibit and sell their unique works and pieces made of wood and enamel. They also sell works by artists and artisans based in Central Finland.
The gallery and shop are open around the year.
Mon–Fri 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., Sat–Sun 12 noon to 4 p.m. in the winter, or by appointment. Summer hours will be posted on the website in the spring of 2014. Free admission.
