10 tips for getting ready for Rally Finland’s jubilee

This autumn, the legendary WRC event Rally Finland will celebrate its 70th anniversary! Because of the year of celebration, we are sharing 70 rally tips for you during the year. Read the first 10 tips for getting ready for the Rally summer in the Jyväskylä Region!

1. Get familiar with the itinerary

The itinerary of Rally Finland 2021 is published! The 70th anniversary route brings together past and present fan favourites.The route altogether is 1059,23 kilometres long, so the speedy gravel roads and the breathtaking lake sceneries will become familiar. 2. Buy tickets

The pre-sales for Rally Finland Tickets has started! Collector Edition Passes and Biker’s Passes are already available, and the rest are coming soon. The most up to date information of the ticket sales is from Rally Finland’s webpage. Be fast and purchase yours!

3. Feel the VIP lifestyle

4. Book accommodation

The accommodation is worth booking well in advance. There are plenty of accommodation possibilities in the Jyväskylä Region from the wide range of hotels in the city centre to cozy  cottages in the municipalities. Keep in mind, that hotels in the Jyväskylä area are booked fast for registered teams and media representatives, so we encourage you to look for accommodation in smaller hotels, hostels, private flats and cottages.

5. Test your rally knowledge

This years jubilee is historic. With Rally Finland’s historic countdown, it is easy not only to get in the nostalgic mood, but also test your knowledge of Rally Finland. Can you remember which year Timo Salonen won Rally Finland?

6. Familiarize with the Jyväskylä Region

On the Rally Special Stages you get to know the Finnish Lakeland a little, but would you like to experience more of it? Discover the best local experiences, familiarize with Visit Jyväskylä Region’s website or book a guided tour or ask the best tips from the travel advisors at the Tourist Office!

7. Plan adventures

Besides Rally Finland, the Jyväskylä Region is filled with other memorable experiences as well. Would you like to dust off the rally sand with fun and exciting activities, visiting one of our 30 museums or perhaps in the silence of an autumnal nature trail? It is worth getting familiar with interesting places in advance!

8. Be enchanted by nature

9. Book a rally meal

Would you like to enjoy your meal in one of the charming restaurants in the countryside, or perhaps in the pulse of the city? Get familiar with cafes and restaurants in the Jyväskylä Region and plan your meals to fit the route of Rally Finland. The rally weekend will be busy, so it is advised to book a table in advance.
