Rules of social media raffles

The raffle is open from 27.1.2022–20.2.2022. The competition ends on 20.2.2022 23:59 UTC+2. The winners will be drawn on 23.2.2022.

Participants must be at least 18 years old. Employees and representatives of the Visit Jyväskylä Region (City of Jyväskylä) or its subsidiaries or affiliates, their family members or other members of the same household, and no other persons involved in any other way in organizing or conducting the raffle may participate in the raffle. Visit Jyväskylä Region reserves the right to require participants to prove their right to participate in the draw.

You can participate by sharing a photo or video in the Instagram feed with the tags #thatmemorablemoment, #visitjyvaskylaregion and @visitjyvaskylaregion during the competition period 27.1.2022–20.2.2022. Private profiles should send a screenshot of the post in a private message to Visit Jyväskylä Region on Instagram. You can enter the competition several times.

Winners will be drawn between all photos and videos shared on Instagram in accordance with the rules set out in section 4.

In the draw you can win:

• Gift card for two people for one night’s accommodation in the Riihihuone at the Varjola Resort (115€). The gift card is valid until 31.12.2022.
• Gift card for one person for the Mother’s or Father’s Day dinner at Savutuvan Apaja (50€). The gift card is valid until 31.12.2022.
• Accommodation gift card for two people at Revontuli Resort‘s All Sky Aurora glass igloo on weekdays between Mon-Fri (€ 319). The price includes breakfast. The gift card is valid until 31.1.2023.
• Accommodation gift card for two people at Peurunka in the main hotel building (180€). The rate includes breakfast and use of the spa and gym. The gift card is valid until 31.7.2022.
• Gift card for Tiltaltti Shop (50€). The gift card is valid until 31.7.2022.
• Gift card for Versona‘s outdoor products, such as excursions or equipment rental (50€). Gift card valid until 1.4.2022.

Winners will be contacted via a direct message on Instagram. If the winners are not reached by 28.2.2022, the organizer of the draw will reserve the right to re-draw that prize. The organizer is not responsible if the direct message does not reach the winner, for example in the “Other messages” folder..

The winner’s name can be published on Visit Jyväskylä Region’s Facebook and Instagram accounts and possibly also on Visit Jyväskylä Region’s website and other social media channels.

Visit Jyväskylä Region can ask the participants in the competition for permission to use the competition image on Visit Jyväskylä Region’s social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, LinkedIn and VKontakte). Visit Jyväskylä Region can also ask the persons who participated in the competition for permission to use the competition image in all marketing of Visit Jyväskylä Region. Visit Jyväskylä Region also asks for permission to transfer to third parties. Visit Jyväskylä Region never shares competition photos or videos without permission or use them in any marketing without permission.

Entrants warrant that if another person appears in and/or contributes to the post participating in the raffle, the post publisher has obtained all necessary rights, licenses and permissions to submit the raffle.

To redeem the prize, you provide your information to the organizer of the competition (Visit Jyväskylä Region, City of Jyväskylä), who will provide the information to the partner company.

You will not receive marketing messages from Visit Jyväskylä Region or partner companies after the campaign unless you give your consent.

There are a total of 6 prizes to be won in the raffle. In the raffle you can win a gift card to Varjola Resort (115€), a gift card to Savutuvan Apaja (50€), a gift card to Revontuli Resort (319€), a gift card to Peurunka (180€), a gift card to Tiltaltti Shop (50€) or a gift card to Versona’s outdoor products (50€) . The prizes must be used for the service indicated by the gift card donated by the respective company. The detailed content of the prizes is listed in section 6.

The raffle is organized by Visit Jyväskylä Region (City of Jyväskylä) and Visit Jyväskylä Region is responsible for any lottery taxes.

The winner will be personally responsible for all costs not mentioned in these raffle conditions. The winner must follow the instructions of the authorities when using the prize (for example, corona instructions).

The prize is as stated and is not redeemable. The prize or part of it cannot be exchanged for cash or another alternative prize. By participating in the raffle, the entrant agrees that the prize will be donated “as is” and that the Visit Jyväskylä Region (or the City of Jyväskylä) or any of its affiliates will not provide any guarantees regarding the prize.

The organizer is not liable for any damages, losses or damages that have occurred or are alleged to have occurred during the promotion, prize trip or activity. The organizer is not responsible if the winner is unable to redeem their prize or enter the competition due to technical problems or incomplete information.

The organizer of the raffle reserves the right to change the rules of the lottery during the competition period.

By participating in the Instagram raffle, you accept all the rules of the raffle.

The raffle is not sponsored, recommended or administered by Instagram and is not affiliated with Instagram in any way.
