Huuha Family and Traffic Park is located in the center of Äänekoski along Hämeentie. The park and its kiosk are open in the summer. The park features playgrounds, a skate track, a Pump Track, and a traffic park with pedal cars. Activities are open and free for everyone, and the park is staffed by school assistants and ninth-grade students. Children must be supervised by their guardians. There is also a playground in the park that is freely accessible to everyone.

The Outdoor Swimming Pool & Sports Park is a popular local place for exercise located in the centre of Jämsä. It offers wonderful opportunities for sports and recreation. On warm summer days you can refresh yourself by going for a swim and enjoying a picnic lunch on the sunny terrace, or by spending the day on the playground. While jogging, you can stop and test the equipment in the outdoor gym belonging to the pool.

At Riihivuori, you will find the gentle and wide eastern slopes for beginners and more advanced skiers to enjoy with equal pleasure. A downhill area with two slopes for beginners and families with children and with a ski lift has been built in the upper part of the eastern slopes. There are also a free-of-charge beginners’ slope and a downhill skiing school for anybody of any age. Little skiers of under seven years of age can ski for free in the company of a caregiver!
