Jyv\u00e4skyl\u00e4 is located in Central Finland, which is renowned for its waterways and unspoilt nature. We are in fact right in the heart of the Finnish lake district!<\/p>\n

Nature can be enjoyed in a whole variety of ways. The Jyv\u00e4skyl\u00e4 Region has numerous signposted nature trails, routes and hundreds of kilometres of cycle paths crisscrossing Central Finland\u2019s wonderfully varied terrain. Lutakko harbour in the centre of the city is home to a number of pleasant restaurant ships and the natural starting point for a lake cruise or a stroll on the beautiful\u00a0Rantaraitti<\/a>. The lake can also be enjoyed from the relaxed comfort of a sauna raft.<\/p>\n

P\u00e4ij\u00e4nne-Risteilyt Hild\u00e9n Oy<\/a> (Lake P\u00e4ij\u00e4nne Cruises Hild\u00e9n) provides you with an opportunity to book a memorable trip by water for the purpose of visiting several nature attractions and places, a good example is the Restaurant Savutuvan Apaja. The cruise is a great addition to an evening party as well.<\/p>\n

Jyv\u00e4skyl\u00e4 offers a great deal of activities. There are numerous museums and beautiful churches which all are well worth a visit. Various guided tours, either on foot or by bus, are arranged in summers. On the pedestrian zone in the city centre visitors will find a tight network of services, shopping options and recreational venues.
