Jyväskylä Region in the heart of the Lakeland Finland is a tourist destination boasting magnificent nature, four national parks and 3,700 lakes. You will find also two UNESCO sites in the region and the largest number of buildings designed by architect Alvar Aalto in the entire the world. The area, also known as the Sauna region of the World, offers a variety of different activities. In Jyväskylä region it is also easy to slow down and boost your well-being. The tourism area represented by Visit Jyväskylä Region has been awarded the Sustainable Travel Finland (STF) label by Visit Finland.
