In addition to the Finnish World Rally Championship, Jyväskylä Region will host the six-day Sauna Rally from July 30th to August 4th 2024. The event invites locals and tourists to experience the diverse sauna culture in the Sauna Region of the World
Sauna Rally is an annual side event held alongside the Finnish World Rally Championship, combining two of Jyväskylä Region’s main attractions: sauna culture and the legendary rally excitement.
Event is inspired by the rallies, and it encourages locals and tourists to experience various sauna destinations around the Jyväskylä Region. Instead of focusing on speed, Sauna Rally aim people to enjoy the sauna steam and relax.
Anyone can participate in Sauna Rally and during the event week, participants can visit as many sauna destinations as they like.
Experience the diverse of saunas in the Jyväskylä Region
Jyväskylä Region has over 140 000 saunas and that is why Sauna Rally is an excellent opportunity to explore the diverse selection of saunas in the World’s Sauna Region.
During the event week, participants can enjoy Finnish sauna culture and steam in various locations, such as the two saunas at Revontuli Resort in Hankasalmi, the smoke sauna at Kinkamon Pirtti in Keuruu, and the wood-heated tent sauna at Juurikkasaari in Jyväskylä.
By participating in the Sauna Rally, we want to offer domestic and especially international travelers the opportunity to experience the real Finnish sauna culture in a traditional smoke sauna.

| Kinkamon Pirtti, which has participated in Sauna Rally in previous years, has already received inquiries about the event this year, and the first spots from the smoke sauna have been already sold.
