In the exhibition, you can, for example, wonder and admire the changing living environment of Central Finland, listen to memories and stories of the past, visit the cinema, read a comic about the founding stages of Jyväskylä, feel the atmosphere of a smoke sauna, sports, or rap. And how would it feel to try the magic of 1960s dance in the atmosphere of a jukebox?
Children can play old-fashioned games, visit the market, jump in hopscotch, or try how they would succeed in creating their own rock painting using modern technology. And what would a journey guided by Alvar boy to Jyväskylä over a hundred years ago look like? The exhibition also features two large-scale models of the city of Jyväskylä from different eras.
