Places with scenic views in the Jyväskylä region
In the Jyväskylä Region, there are many wonderful nature sites with breathtaking views. Leave the hustle and bustle of the city behind as you head to the top of the Kanavuori Hill, take a day trip to the Vaarunvuoret hills via the breathtaking Kärkistensalmi strait or escape to Paljaspää hill in Muuratsalo island, where the legendary Finnish architect Alvar Aalto once lived. At Korpilahti you can visit the Oravivuori triangulation station that is part of the Struve Geodetic Arc and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You can also find beautiful sceneries in Laajavuori, where you can admire the views and enjoy a wide range of activities throughout the year.
