The exhibition explores Karelian national costume culture through the lens of modern sportswear. The featured outfits draw inspiration from the Antrea national costume inherited from the artist’s grandmother, as well as from Finnish national costume culture more broadly. Lauri Greis’s Karelian Sportlore collection has attracted considerable attention and has won awards both in Finland and abroad.
