The Seminaarinmäki Singing Walk is a mobile theatre performance by Teattenikone that takes participants on a journey through Jyväskylä’s Seminaarinmäki.
The skillfully crafted ensemble highlights interesting figures from the seminary’s history. Songs, stories, and humorous characters guide participants from the founding of Jyväskylä to the present day.
The cast features Aaro Vuotila, who will perform new compositions as well as a few classics by P. J. Hannikainen.
Departure from the courtyard of Villa Rana cultural center. The route is not accessible.
Duration approx. 1h 15 min.
The first performances will be seen at Jyväskylä Summer on Wed 1.7. and Tue 7.7. at 4 pm (tickets: Jyväskylän Kesä)
