Hotel Viikinhovi is participating in the Central Finland Sauna Province Week from June 8-12, on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.

Viikinhovi has 2 saunas in the main hotel and a wood-heated lakeside sauna. The lakeside sauna offers a beautiful view of the lake.

The small sauna in the main hotel can accommodate 4 people, and the larger sauna can accommodate 10 people. Both saunas have dressing rooms for bathers, from which you can go directly to the terrace and swim in the lake from the dock or sandy beach. The lakeside sauna can accommodate 4 people. The lakeside sauna has its own dressing room. The saunas have shower gels and towels available. Please bring your own towel, swimsuit or swimming trunks, and sandals.

In the fireplace room, you can enjoy sauna snacks with coffee or tea for €15 per person in the evenings.

On Monday, June 8, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, there is an opportunity to experience a therapeutic vihta (vihta sauna) treatment by traditional sauna attendant Sanna Laakkonen. You can purchase the vihta treatment at https://www.aistienkeho.fi/.

On Wednesday, June 10, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, there is an opportunity for peat treatments. Wellness services provider Pihlajan Kaisa Kankaanpää will guide you through self-administered peat treatments in the gentle sauna steam. You can purchase the peat treatment upon arrival. Facial treatment is €12 per person, and full-body treatment is €22 per person.
