Welcome to spend a peaceful summer evening at Muuramen Kivitasku – a place where nature, relaxation and the warmth of the sauna meet.
During the evening, we will descend into the peace of nature through gentle yoga, drum relaxation, herbal tea and the atmospheric Haiku sauna. The lush environment of Kivitasku by the lake, grazing sheep, natural sounds and a leisurely atmosphere invite you to pause for a moment and just be.
Even a brief moment in nature does good: research shows that being in nature can lower stress levels, soothe the nerves, clarify thoughts and increase a sense of well-being. When the hurry subsides and you are surrounded by greenery, the sounds of water and open space to breathe, the body often starts to soften without notice.
We will start the evening by spreading out yoga mats in the Kivitasku yard and do a peaceful yoga practice in the middle of nature. Gentle movement, sensing the breath and the peace of the surrounding nature help detach from everyday life and calm the body and mind. After yoga, we pause for drum relaxation – letting the rhythms carry us towards deeper relaxation.
After yoga, the evening continues at a leisurely pace in the Kivitasku yard. Before the sauna, you can walk the Path of Nature’s Peace – a short loop along the lake shore and around the yard. Along the route, small rest stops invite you to pause for a moment, sense the surrounding nature and descend deeper into the atmosphere of the summer evening. At one of the stops, you will receive a cup of tea to enjoy in the peace of the summer evening.
After this, the evening continues at your own pace in the unique Haiku sauna.
The Haiku sauna, built on the shore of Kalajärvi, offers an experience where the soft atmosphere of a smoke sauna and gentle, oxygen-rich sauna löyly (steam) come together. Between the sauna sessions, you can sit on the terrace, breathe the fresh summer air or take a refreshing dip in the lake.
During the sauna experience, fresh mint leaf water is available, and you will also receive a towel – your only task is to arrive and let the evening carry you.
The peace of nature, gentle movement, the relaxing effect of rhythms and the warmth of the sauna together create space for recovery – that good feeling that lingers long after leaving.
Evening program
5:30 pm – 6:30 pm Yoga & drum relaxation
6:30 pm Path of Nature’s Peace & tea
6:45 pm – 9:00 pm Haiku sauna at your own pace
Equipment: Please bring your own mat or large towel for outdoor yoga. On a cool day, it’s good to dress warmly – you can also bring a blanket and wool socks. Bring your own sauna items and swimwear. You can borrow a towel on site. If it rains, yoga and drum relaxation will be held in the cozy Kivitasku Villa.
