The absolute must-see destination in the center of Jyväskylä this summer!
The demolition site art exhibition called Old School, organized by the Art Habitat association, is open throughout the summer from 4.6.-30.8. in the annex building of the Jyväskylä Lyseo.
The art exhibition features a diverse range of contemporary art, installations, murals and graffiti by dozens of local and international artists.
The exhibition carries the multi-layered name, Old School.
The exhibition is open from Wednesday to Friday from 12-18,
and on Saturdays and Sundays from 12-17.
Additionally, there are three different exhibitions visible in the courtyard of the Lyseo.
Henrietta Soininen’s exhibition, Vuoksi, “The exhibition is a photographic series that combines the traditions of documentary and art photography, depicting foreign parents who have remained in Finland after a divorce in order to share the custody of their children”.
The glass container exhibition of the Jyväskylä Artist Association with works by changing artists.

And the handiwork of local graffiti artists can be seen on the walls of the courtyard.
The building is in demolition condition, which is why the indoor air is not the best possible.
The exhibition extends to three different floors, of which the first floor and the courtyard are accessible.
The exhibition has been supported by the Keski-Suomi Regional Fund of the Finnish Cultural Foundation and the Arts and Cultural Division.
The exhibition also has the following cooperation partners: the Children’s Culture Center Kulttuuriaitta, the Center for Creative Photography, Taideapteekki, the municipalities of Muurame and Petäjävesi, Taidetila Toinila and numerous other actors.
