Welcome to enjoy the magnificent new sauna world of Juurikkasaari with the power of three saunas in the beautiful Päijänne landscapes! We have 2 wood-heated saunas and one large electric-heated panoramic sauna. You can relax on the terrace surrounding the saunas and take a refreshing dip in Lake Päijänne between sauna rounds.
Sauna drinks can be purchased from the main house.
Sauna sessions are on Mon, Tue and Wed from 3 pm to 8 pm, Thursday from 4 pm to 8 pm and Sunday from 12 pm to 6 pm.
The price of a sauna session is 14.5€, children 2-12 years 7€.
You can pay for the sauna session upon arrival at the party hall or conveniently in advance through the online store.
This is a mixed sauna, so please wear a swimsuit.
Swimming is possible year-round – a winter swimming hole in the winter.
The beach sauna facilities are freely available during the sauna session. There you will find:
Toilet (hair dryer).
2 showers (shampoo & conditioner).
Changing room and a spacious sauna cabin for changing clothes.
Towels
The sauna is located right by the shore, so you can take a dip in Lake Päijänne either from the new illuminated jetty (ladder) or through the child-friendly sandy beach.
You can also rent a towel from us for 5€ for the duration of your sauna session.
