Seven dog brothers are swept into one adventure after another as they discover brotherly love, growing up and the joy of learning new things. In Jukola, songs fill the air and the ground shakes as the brothers rush headlong from one wild idea to the next.
Alongside the seven dog brothers, the stage comes alive with the Schoolmaster, Mr. Hakkarainen, the boys from Toukola, the villagers and, of course, the lovely Venla from Männistö. More than 30 children and young people take over the stage and technical production, performing in two alternating casts.
The Seven Dog Brothers premieres on Saturday, 3 October at 2 pm and Sunday, 4 October at 2 pm at the Sydän-Laukaa School Auditorium (Saralinnantie 3, Laukaa). Performances continue until 29 November.
