This exhibition consists of 3 main raw materials that I have used in my work. Textile, ceramics and painting. They all come together in one theme, the beginning and root of everything, the Popper bird. That character was the first one I implemented on canvas in the early 90s. The character was a blend of a parrot and a duck with human features. The comic book-like technique makes it fly from one task to another.
The theme was present in the works for over 10 years, then I had drawn it to an end and other characters took its place. It suddenly came back about 7 years ago, but in the form of a ceramic sculpture. I let it come and a moment later it bubbled up as a character in acrylic paintings.
