Kankaan sauna / Juhlatila Kangas

Juhlatila Kangas is located in a more than 100-year-old red brick building near Tourujoki, right in the centre of Jyväskylä, in the premises of Kankaansauna Oy.

Juhlatila Kangas is the perfect venue for family celebrations such as christenings, birthday parties and memorial services.

The premises are also perfect for corporate and community parties, customer events and even Christmas parties.

With a capacity of around 40 people, the venue is available for hire for both small and larger events. We can also provide catering and activities.

If you wish, you can also bring your own food and non-alcoholic beverages. Coffee and tea are included in the room rental, as well as a coffee set and a host or hostess who will prepare the coffee for you, do the washing up and the background work during the party, as well as the final cleaning. The space rental also includes sparkling wine glasses, goblets, etc. and a limited number of serving dishes, holders, cake plates, etc.

Our facilities include high-speed fibre optic (wifi), sound system and a large TV. Please remember to bring the necessary cables and adapters for your laptop. HDMI cable is pre-installed on the screen.

If you wish, you can also book the sauna facilities for your event.The sauna facilities are a completely separate space from the party room.
The two saunas offer first-class sauna bathing - the larger sauna can accommodate around 15 people at a time, while the smaller "urban log sauna" can accommodate around 5 people.

Kangas sauna is located about 2 km from the centre of Jyväskylä. You can get there by bike in about 5 minutes and on foot in just over 15 minutes. You can also get there easily by bus or car. Parking is conveniently arranged in the adjacent P- Arkki parking garage.
