Forest yoga offers a calming, refreshing moment that emphasizes the well-being effects of nature in the beautiful surroundings of Leivonmäki National Park.
During the yoga session, you will be able to do gentle movements that mimic the elements of nature at the pace of your own breathing and listening to your body. You will also hear the sounds of the forest, see the colors and shapes, and sense the scents of nature and the vibrations of the air. You do not need to have previous experience with yoga, but even an experienced yogi will get a new kind of experience from the story-based yoga moment. Forest yoga is suitable for participants of all ages and fitness levels.

The yoga tour begins with a peaceful walk in the forest, where the instructor leads the participants to breathe deeper, pause for a moment and do easy, nature-inspired yoga poses. During the exercise, the environment is observed with different senses and the body is given the opportunity to recover and refresh in the middle of the forest nature.
The half-hour yoga session is carried out in the form of story-like movements, and then we return to the starting point along the path. The total duration is about one hour. After yoga, you can explore the national park at your own pace.
The starting and returning point of the tour is the Kirveslampi parking area.

You will need weather-appropriate clothing, your own mat (blanket, yoga mat or similar) and a water bottle. Events are subject to weather conditions.
