Travel aboard m/s Suomen Suvi from Jyväskylä to Kuusaa Canal and back through the beautiful lakes and countryside of Finnish Lakeland! This section of the Keitele–Päijänne Canal takes you through three fascinating canal locks, where you can watch the ship rise and lower with the water as it travels between lakes.

At Kuusaa Canal, enjoy an hour to explore the scenic surroundings. You might spot white-water rafters, visit Kuusaa Koskikahvio café or stroll to nearby Varjola resort. On the return journey, the ship stops at Saraakallio, where you can admire Stone Age rock paintings directly from the deck – some over 7,000 years old and older than the Egyptian pyramids!

Enjoy a generous lunch buffet freshly prepared in the ship’s kitchen with Finnish flavours and seasonal ingredients. Take in lake views from the restaurant’s large windows or relax on the spacious sun deck with a drink or ice cream.
