The AaltoAlvari water sports centre offers excellent facilities for water sports. There are several pools, including a 25-metre pool with a diving tower, which was designed by Alvar Aalto in 1955. The centre also has well-lit gyms, the Café Pukkari café and a room with a fireplace available for hire. The wood-fired sauna is open during public sauna hours and can also be reserved in advance for private use.

The five-lane, 25-metre pool is the first pool in the swimming hall and was completed in 1955. At the deep end of the pool, there are diving boards and springboards at heights of 1, 3 and 5 metres.

The four-lane convertible pool has a bottom that can be raised and lowered according to the users and the intended use. During the holiday season, this pool is used for Wibit water obstacle courses.

The eight-lane 50-metre pool is suitable for water running, fitness swimming, swimming lessons and competitive swimming, among other things.

The children’s pool has a depth ranging from 0.15 to 0.8 metres and a water temperature of around +30°C.

The Wellness pool features neck and shoulder jets, underwater massage points and a bubble bench. You can also enjoy virtual water aerobics in the pool. Next to the pool is a slide with its own chute.

The Wave pool is the largest pool in the spa area. As well as swimming, you can enjoy the jacuzzi bubbles and slide down the water slide. The pool has a wave machine that generates waves every 30 minutes, starting from 10 am.
