Café Meijerinliiteri, the summer café, is located in Joutsa, in the idyllic courtyard of a beautiful old farmhouse. It serves fresh coffee, mint tea and rhubarb juice, as well as seasonal delicacies baked on site.
The 19th-century farmhouse offers visitors a chance to step back in time. The Juuret exhibition recounts the stories of a family, a village and Finland as a whole. The traditional courtyard is also home to the Torpan Tyttö & Honkasalo Atelier summer boutique, as well as a flea market selling dresses. There is also plenty of space for children to play.
Built in the ice room of the old stone cottage, the concert and event space hosts the popular Suonteen Soitto concerts in the summer. There is also a unique art gallery with regularly changing exhibitions. Welcome and enjoy!
