A popular sea container restaurant, award-winning summer terrace and cozy café in Jyväskylä harbour, within walking distance of the city centre. Morton’s restaurant is particularly known for its burgers and relaxed atmosphere, while the café is known for its beautiful pancakes and delicious breakfast. Open in summer, from May to September!
No need to book a table! There is a large terrace and a warm indoor area, so you are welcome in all weathers. The restaurant is barrier-free and there is also a toilet for disabled people. We are a dog-friendly restaurant, so dogs are also welcome at Morton’s.
The first Morton’s restaurant was established in the small village of Rautalammi in 2010, although the idea was actually born at a table in a student dormitory here in Jyväskylä. The restaurant arrived in Jyväskylä in 2018 and our stunning beach terrace has been awarded the best summer terrace in the city in 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022. The best stories always start at the same table, welcome to Morton!
