Tärttämäki lookout spot is one of the highest places in the region with a stunning view over Keitele, Tärttälahti in Kuhnamo and all the way to the city of Äänekoski. Tärttämäki rises 100 meters above the lake Kuhnamonjärvi right next to it so the landscape is really beautiful.

Kärkistensalmi Strait & Kärkinen Bridge

If you’re interested in adding something of magical beauty to your photo gallery, then it’s worth heading south to Korpilahti and taking in the Kärkinen bridge. Spanning fabulous Lake Päijänne and the Kärkistensalmi Strait, the Kärkinen bridge is Finland’s third longest. The bridge is almost 800 metres in length and rises to a height of close to 100 metres.
