Rummakko Hiking Route is approx. 4 km long and runs in the vicinity of Ruuhinmäki village. The route meanders on the slopes of Heinälamminvuori hill, past Ylä-Rummakko and Ala-Rummakko ponds. The route was improved in 2015.

The nature trail circles around the meandering Keskisenlampi, which is part of the national bird water conservation program. Keskisenlampi is a lush bird lake where resting waterfowl gather during the spring migration. Along the nature trail, there is a bird observation tower that provides a view of the lake. During the nesting season in spring and early summer, please avoid disturbing the birds and stay on the marked path.

Häähninmäki Hill marks a historic boundary between the ancient hunting grounds in Hankasalmi and Konnevesi. The area has an extensive network of trails that are open all year round and offer fat biking, trail running and other outdoor pursuits. In 2020, a lookout tower tower offering breathtaking views was erected on Häähninmäki. The area also has a desert hut Häähnintupa built in 2012, which is a camping and rest hut for all hikers in the middle of the wonderful hiking trails.

The nature trail includes two route alternatives: The Talkoovuoret and Miehinkäinen trails. Both are 1.5 km long and can easily be completed one after another. Talkoovuoret Nature Trail runs through varied forest terrains and descends to a trench enclosed by dramatic cliffs. Miehinkäinen Nature Trail is easier than the Talkoovuoret trail, and runs mainly through wetland. The birdwatching tower is great for viewing birds nesting and resting on Lake Miehinkäinen.

The nature trail meanders through the cultural landscape of Kärkkäälä village and near the banks of Korholankosket rapids from Hannulankoski to Keskisenkoski. Korholankosket rapids are part of the Rautalampi Water Way Route. The banks around the rapids are protected under the Shore Conservation Programme and the water bodies as part of the Natura 2000 network. The trail runs approx. 2 km, introducing the hikers to reedbeds around the rapids and flooded forests, as well as the history of Kärkkäälä village. Wet passages are covered with boardwalks. There are lean-to shelters at Keskisenkoski and Hannulankoski.

The Huutoniemi Nature Trail is located by Lake Kyynämöinen, approx. 2 km from the village of Kyynämöinen. The 1.8 km trail runs through a pine woodland with beautiful views over the lake. The Huutoniemi farm is a public recreational area and the buildings are owned by the municipality of Uurainen.

Konttivuori Nature Trail is located approx. 1 km from the village of Höytiä. The trail follows the edge of the rocky hill of Konttivuori past the Konttivuori nature reserve, which was established in 1993. The path ascends through a shaded spruce forest to the rugged terrain of an old pine forest and continues to a lean-to shelter located beneath the dramatic cliffs.
