Päijänne-Risteilyt Hildén Oy

Over 60 years of cruising on Lake Päijänne!

The authentic steamship s/s Suomi operates lunch and dinner cruises from Jyväskylä out onto Lake Päijänne. On Wednesdays, the lunch cruise can be combined with a guided tour of the Säynätsalo Town Hall, a masterpiece by Alvar Aalto and a UNESCO World Heritage site.

The m/s Suomen Suvi cruises the Keitele Canal as far as the Kuusa Canal and Äänekoski; the route also offers views of the Stone Age rock paintings at Saraakallio. In July, the Korpilahti route allows for a trip to the sunny rocky shores of the Mämminiemi recreational area.

Five times each summer, the m/s Suomen Neito takes passengers on a full-day voyage across the entire length of Lake Päijänne, traveling between the cities of Jyväskylä and Lahti.

Every cruise is crowned by our highly acclaimed buffets, which showcase local Finnish ingredients. All our vessels are fully licensed to sell alcohol, and the dining experience is complemented by a curated wine list.
