Come and experience some Finnish culture in traditional pavilion dancing. Pavilion dancing involves partner dancing in a variety of styles with a possibility to change partners between dances. Listed below are the best spots in the Jyväskylä Region for trying out dancing. Some of them also organise dancing classes.

The biggest pavilion dance festival in Finland is organized on August 25 and 26, 2023 in Himos in Jämsä. Accompaniment is provided there by such artists well known in the Finnish dancing scene as Saija Tuupanen, Antti Ahopelto, and Heidi Pakarinen to name but a few.

Built in 1960, Hangan Lava is a traditional dance pavilion with dancing from mid-May until early September.
