Two artists, one summer evening full of atmosphere! Eereka and Eva Vikman combine their forces together in their concert of Flashes of Light and the Glow of a Summer Evening. The concert will feature both artists’ own music in sensitive interpretations. Welcome!
Eereka is an artist whose warm music captivates with its strength and sensitivity. Her musical world wanders through the landscapes of pop, folk, and the singer-songwriter tradition. The singles from the 2023 released Seasons EP have delighted listeners on radio waves and on Spotify’s official playlists. Most recently, the song “Mun on mentävä” won the Radio Hiekka MusaMaisteri2025 competition for the best song of the summer. The single “Olla mun kaa” has just been released, and the newest single “Tänä kesänä aion rakastuu” will be released on 6/5 as part of the Once Upon a Midsummer Night EP together with Peltokurki.
Eereka is an active performer who has managed to tour various events and venues. She has performed at, among others, the largest festivals in Northern Finland, Qstock and Koiteli Elää. Eereka’s strengths have been described as a strong singing voice, warm presence, and sensitive storytelling: “Eereka has the power to touch with her singing and presence.”
Eva Vikman is a singer described as having a beautiful voice and captivating presence, as well as an award-winning songwriter in national composition and lyric competitions. With experience of hundreds of gigs, the actively touring artist writes pop music that draws from the aesthetics of jazz. In her lyrics she wants to bring light, hope and gentleness. Vikman’s songs have received nationwide radio play, and the 2023 release “Olkapää” (Recovery Records) was also included in Spotify’s official “Iskelmä kuuluu kaikille” playlist. Vikman is working on her 2nd album, which will be released in the fall of 2026.
