A guided excursion offers an opportunity to explore the lake nature of the area, observe birdlife, and enjoy a snack in the midst of nature. With good luck, we may also spot an osprey soaring above the lake.

Excursion programme
🔷 Canoeing basics and safety
Before departure, our guide will instruct you on basic paddling techniques and go through safety instructions. Previous canoeing experience is not required.
🔷 Canoeing on Lake Rutäjärvi
After the instruction, we head out onto the water to explore the beautiful bays of Lake Rutajärvi and the natural landscapes of the national park. Along the route we may see a variety of birdlife in the area, and with good luck also an osprey gliding above the lake or fishing in nearby waters.
🔷 Snack break
During the excursion we take a peaceful break in nature. We enjoy a light snack and admire the atmosphere of the national park before heading back.
