Saturday lunch time in the middle of nature at Juurikkasaari with a relaxing sauna and ice swimming.
Delicious homemade lunch Juurikkasaari style between 12 – 15, price 19.80€/person, children 1€/year of age 2 – 12 year olds.
You can buy a sauna and swimming ticket for 19.80€/person. The saunas warm up between 11 – 16.

You can reach us by taking the local bus right from Jyväskylä city center, numbers 16 and 21.
On Saturdays, the saunas have a new electrically heated landscape sauna as well as a traditional wood sauna in use.
The beach sauna facilities are available for free use during your sauna time. There you will find:
WC (hair dryer).
2 showers (shampoo & conditioner).
Separate changing rooms for women and men as well as a spacious sauna cabin where you can catch your breath after the sauna.

The sauna is located in the immediate vicinity of the beach, so you can jump into Päijänne from an illuminated pier (stairs) or via a sandy beach until the ice arrives.
If you wish, you can also rent a towel from us for the duration of your sauna session for 5€.
