In 2021, the Teatterikoneen production of Wivi & Hanna had a hugely successful premiere. The play has been regularly requested, and now we have decided to bring it back in a renewed summer theater version in the beautiful garden of Villa Rana.
The Wivi & Hanna play tells the story of Wivi Lönn and Hanna Parviainen, who met each other at the beginning of the last millennium. Their partnership caused disapproval and criticism, but it remained strong until the end. And both women achieved success in their careers in the male-dominated world, despite having detractors and critics. While the women were of the same mettle in their strength and fighting spirit, they were opposites in personality. Perhaps it was precisely this that bonded them tightly together and made them clear a path for each other.
The auditorium is not covered. In the event of heavy rain, we will move the performance to the indoor spaces of the Culture House. The duration of the performance is 1 hour and 45 minutes, including an intermission.
