Kesäpäivä Keuruulla – Keuruu City 40 Years
The year 2026 is a significant anniversary for Keuruu, as the city celebrates its 40th year. One of the main anniversary events is Kesäpäivä Keuruulla, organised in collaboration with Jyväskylä Festival on 3 July. This full-day celebration takes the audience to three different churches and culminates in Samuli Edelmann’s moving concert.
The day’s programme begins around noon at the Old Church of Keuruu, where free, open guided tours are offered from midday onwards.
Kesäpäivä Keuruulla is organised in cooperation by Jyväskylä Festival, the City of Keuruu, Visit Keuruu, and the Keuruu Parish.
