Children can craft their own sauna plan throughout the day, drawing inspiration from the smoke sauna in the From Forest to Sauna exhibition. Short guided tours of the museum’s exhibitions are also available on the hour from 1 pm to 4 pm.
From 2 pm to 5:45 pm, the non-stop workshop allows visitors to make their own tar-decorated sauna decoration. There is a 2€ fee.
From 2 pm to 5 pm, traditional sauna practitioner Ritva Timonen will be on site demonstrating traditional sauna bathing practices. Visitors can also make their own Midsummer vihta. Materials fee of €5.
