Handcrafting and making costumes familiarizes one with various materials and techniques, and the character is built piece by piece. Speaking about the handicrafts of the burlesque world is Mallas Athene, also known as Mari Varonen, who will be showcasing her own performance costume.
The talk will be held in the lecture hall of the Craft Museum of Finland from 4:30 pm to 5:30 pm.
