On Friday we’ll enjoy a movie night with Kino Aurora and watch Gypsy – Queen of Striptease (duration 2h 23min), a classic film of burlesque cinema. After the film, Bettie Blackheart will join as a guest speaker.

On Saturday night 19.9. Hurmosta ja hekumaa evening show offers the audience a diverse selection of Finnish burlesque gems. The performers have been part of the 18‑year journey of modern Finnish burlesque and have left their mark on the scene. The evening will feature performances never before seen in Jyväskylä, including acts accompanied by live music. The orchestra will entertain the audience when the doors open and during the intermission.

Villa Rana’s restaurant will serve the audience throughout the event. The theatre hall is a licensed area, so you may enjoy refreshments from the restaurant during the show. Downstairs you will find the restaurant, restrooms, and unguarded coat racks.
The cultural centre has a stairlift providing accessible entry to the halls. If you need to use the lift, please contact us in advance at [email protected].
