The association turned 25 years old last year and our association had also organized the Nature Photography Event of the Year in Viitasaari as many as 20 times. The exhibition of the anniversary year 2025 presents the beautiful nature and natural sites of Central Finland and northern Central Finland.
The Association of Nature Photographers of Northern Central Finland was founded in 2000 and is open to all those interested in nature photography, regardless of skill level. Members can develop their photography, receive feedback and share thoughts with others. Still, video and drone photographers are welcome; the level of equipment is not decisive, enthusiasm is enough.
Our activities include Monthly Picture, annual exhibitions, a virtual gallery, member trips and nature photography evenings since 2002. Members have been successful in the Nature Photographer of the Year competition, including a series win in 2022. The website was renewed in 2023 (Nettitakomo).
