The Outdoor Express, which operates on weekends during the summer season, offers a fast connection from the center of Jyväskylä to the water gate of the South Konnevesi National Park in Häyrylänranta. The bus goes through Peurunka (Laukaa), where you can also board.

The water gate to the South Konnevesi National Park opens from the Häyrylänranta harbor. You can book a guided kayaking trip or explore the waters of the national park independently by kayak or SUP board, for example on the Haukisaari loop (8 km) or from the deck of an inland waterway cruise ship. The Partiomajan polku trail, located a short walk from the harbor, offers an excellent hiking destination within the national park.
