Welcome to a queer-guided tour of Kirsi Neuvonen’s exhibition!

How do the artist’s diverse works from across her career engage in dialogue with social norms? A queer perspective in art is not limited to seeking a single interpretation; instead, it invites reflection on themes of otherness and diversity on a universal human level. During the tour, the emotional landscapes of the exhibition encourage discussion about roles, memories, and feelings of belonging. No prior knowledge of queer terminology is required to participate — curiosity and openness to new perspectives are more than enough. The tour is guided by art history student Anna Khirug.

Thu 30 July at 4 PM
Thu 27 August at 4 PM

You can join the tour with the museum admission fee (€10/8/6) or a Museum Card. Free admission for visitors under 24. No advance registration required. Note! Tours are in Finnish.
