The buildings and cozy yard of the Pienmäki Farm Museum represent a typical Central Finnish farm. The museum area in Hankasalmi Niemisjärvi includes about 20 peasant log buildings mainly from the 19th century. The small Barn Activity Space offers small activities. The Pienmäki Farm Museum is a nationally significant built cultural environment. As last summer, you can also greet the sheep grazing in the area during your museum visit. Open June 16-30, Tue-Sat 11am-5pm (closed Fri-Sat June 19-20), July 1-31, Tue-Sun 11am-5pm, and August 1-15, Tue-Sat 11am-5pm. The summer opening event is celebrated on Tue June 16 and the summer closing event on Sat August 15. Free admission to the museum.
