From the Finnish National Romantic era, the studio home was completed in 1913 and the extension in 1926. The over a hundred-year-old building, the objects, art, and photographs take you on a voyage through time and as part of the lives of the family of artists over the course of two generations. On the atmospheric November evening, the Studio Home of the Heiska Family is illuminated with lanterns.
It is possible to explore the Studio Home of the Heiska Family independently. There are guides present who are happy to share the history of the building and its habitants. 12 people are admitted at a time on a first-come, first-served basis.
