Departure from the charter bus platform of the P-Matkakeskus parking garage in the basement of the Travel Center.

Outdoor Express, which operates on weekends during the summer season, offers a fast connection from the center of Jyväskylä to a total of three different national parks.

The one-way ticket prices are for the journey. Remember to also purchase the return transportation if you are returning by Outdoor Express.

Leivonmäki National Park captivates its visitors with its varied landscapes, where eskers, lakes, and bogs create a unique natural mosaic. The 3.5 km Koskikara nature trail starting from Rutalahti, and the 4.5 km Harjunkierros and 5.5 km Mäyränkierros trails starting from the Selänpohja parking lot, offer stunning views and diverse nature experiences. There are several campfire sites in the park. You can follow the Rutalahti-Selänpohja connecting route for a good overnight hike.

The park has plenty of different routes, so everyone can find a suitable one. Mountain bike trails and guided tours also depart from Selänpohja.

Accessibility:

The accessible Harjujärvi route allows people with reduced mobility to enjoy nature. The route is challenging due to its slope, so it is recommended to take an assistant.

When booking, indicate whether a wheelchair space is needed in the passenger area or if the assisted person can sit on the bus seat. This affects the number of seats available in the vehicle.
The assistant has free access when you inform about it during confirmation.

Limited accessible spaces: reserve yours in advance, but no later than two days before the trip.

Arrive at the departure point no later than 15 minutes before the bus departure.
