Join us on this exclusive walking tour, where each step unfolds Aalto’s legacy amidst the landscapes that inspired his works, all through a sustainable lens.

The tour starts at 10 AM from the Aalto2 Museum Centre, where our guide will greet you, briefly introduce the day’s program, and provide tickets to enter the museum. You’ll have an hour to explore the museum and grab some snacks at the Aalto2 Café (not included).

We’ll reconvene at the café at 11 AM. Then, we’ll embark on a guided walk of about 2 kilometres to the Jyväskylä University Campus area.

In alignment with our commitment to sustainability, we’ll venture next to Säynätsalo via a 35-minute local bus journey, blending seamlessly into the local way of life.

Once we arrive, we’ll have a buffet lunch (included) at Restaurant Juurikkasaari, located on a small island within walking distance of the bus stop. After lunch, a guide will walk you on a one-kilometre beautiful urban nature walk to the Säynätsalo Town Hall for a 45-minute guided tour.

The tour ends around 3.15 PM.

Afterwards, you can indulge in delicious pastries at the Café & Bakery (not included).

We’ll provide a return bus ticket to Jyväskylä Centre.

If you’ve booked a stay in the Town Hall apartments, you’ll receive your keys. There is an option for a tour of Muuratsalo Experimental House at 5 PM or next morning at 9 AM.
