Himos during winter
In Himos, people enjoy the slopes of Southern and Central Finland’s largest ski resort and other winter activities during the winter. After an active day outdoors, delicious food and relaxation by the fireplace in a cabin are appealing – or maybe you’ll head to a concert at Himos Arena.

Winter activites at Himos
The winter tourism area of Himos is especially known for the Himos ski resort. In the largest ski center in Southern and Central Finland, there are 26 well-maintained slopes to ski on. The longest slope offers 1200 meters of skiing.
In the Himos area, you can also go snowshoeing, tour skating, or snowmobiling. An exotic activity for groups is, for example, an ice swimming adventure with a flotation suit.
The cross-country skiing season starts on the illuminated first snow track in Himos, and as winter progresses, you can ski from Himos to Jämsä. Children can practice skiing on a flat, 300-meter-long track.
