Visit Jyväskylä Region sponsors the yearly Jyväskylä Pride event. Visit Jyväskylä Region was awarded on Janurary 16th 2025 with We Speak Gay Trailblazer Award for promoting LGBTQ+ inclusivity and LGBTQ+ tourism in Finland. The award was given to companies and travel destinations that have acted as bold examples and pioneers for others, both locally and nationally.
