Sippulanniemi nature trail
Sippulanniemi Nature Trail is a 4 km route winding through varied forest terrain between Ristikivi and the golf center.
Description
Established in 1986, it features 20 information boards, which will be renewed in 2024. The trail showcases diverse nature: spruce and mixed forests, rocky pine ridges, and alder groves. Birdlife is rich, and the route also includes Niemijärvi bog with a small pond.
The starting point is along an outdoor trail, signposted from the parking area at Ristikiventie and Nurmilaukka. It’s also accessible via the golf center and Lehdokintie. In winter, parts of the trail serve as ski tracks, and there is no winter maintenance. Cycling is not allowed. Visitors are encouraged to follow the principles of litter-free hiking.
