Entrance and access
The Visit Jyväskylä Region Tourist Office is located in the shopping centre Forum, but the entrance is located on Asemakatu street. There is no designated parking for drop-offs at Asemakatu street. However, when dropping off a passenger, you can drive directly to the main entrance at Asemakatu 7, 40100 Jyväskylä. The nearest accessible parking space is located on the 3rd to 5th floor of the parking garage in the Sokkari shopping centre. Access to the Sokkari parking garage is from Vapaudenkatu street.
At the entrance door, there are two thresholds, each 5 centimetres high. There are two heavy doors at the entrance. The outermost lobby is fairly cramped. If you need help, for example, with opening the doors, please contact the staff. The staff is happy to help you get in.
Interior spaces
The tourist information service desks are located right after the outermost (“draught”) lobby on the right. No induction loop is provided at the service desks. There are movable chairs in the room, so you can sit while you are being served. The space is long and narrow in shape, but it is nevertheless possible to move inside with a wheelchair.
Accessible toilet
The closest accessible toilet is on the ground floor of the shopping centre Sokkari on the other side of the street.
