Laajis is a local centre for winter activities for the whole family!
Located near the centre of Jyväskylä, Laajis Ski Resort has snow in winter regardless of snow conditions. The renovations have also improved the resort’s facilities for families with children and beginners. Laajis’ slopes, Lumimaa and snow parks offer skiers a wide variety of skiing options. Winter days can also be spent sledging, skiing, snowshoeing and cycling. The area’s lakes and ponds are great places to take a break. Popular ski school courses and private lessons cater for the whole family. Rental equipment for winter activities is available at the rental shop. The shop is well stocked with everything you need for the slopes. The restaurant is open when the slopes are open.
