Jyväskylä City Theatre offers experiences in abundance! Our programme for spring 2015 includes the musical comedy Lainahöyhenissä (La Cage aux Folles) and a new interpretation of the classic Niskavuoren naiset (The Women of Niskavuori). Life’s norms are given a comprehensive – and humorous – shake-up in the drama Yksi lensi yli käenpesän (One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest). On the small stage country-dweller Jason’s life change is explored in Pieni raha (Small Money) written by Sirkku Peltola. In March we introduce a production with enduring family appeal: the classic fairy tale Prinsessa Ruusunen (Sleeping Beauty).
